Smoky BBQ style Oven Brisket

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together to form a rub
  2. Remove brisket from fridge, I recommend using a baking dish to lessen the mess. Rub mixture on all sides of meat. Cover place back in fridge for a minimum of 2 hours. 24 hours is best. Note- Kids love this job!
  3. Place in dutch oven fat side up and roast for 4 hours or until fork tender
  4. Remove from oven, place on foil lined baking sheet preheat broiler. Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes until crust is hardened.
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes slice thinly, drizzle with Buh’s The Sweet Side and serve.
Recipe Notes

This recipe is enough for multiple briskets.  Save some of the rub for a later round of ribs or another brisket.
